When Richard L. Schmoyer, designer of the well-known Sunquest
sundial, died in 1997 at age 82, he left a drawing and description,
dated 9 January 89, of a proposed large public sundial, which he
called "Lyre and Tuning Fork Musical Theme Sundial." Apparently, the
dial was never built.
